Irina Firstein is a New York City based, licensed therapist who specializes in couples and individual therapy. She immigrated from Russia with her family as a teenager before the Iron Curtain fell and credits the struggles of their immigrant experience with awakening her desire to help others. Firstein describes herself as a romantic-at-heart who likes to shatter common relationship myths because every couple is unique.
